They Have the Internet on Computers Now

In news just arriving via carrier pigeon, Australia has been ranked 44th in global internet speeds. This is sad considering Australia, a country routinely criticised by its own citizens for lacking a visionary political class, until September 2013 had a world-leading fibre-to-the-premises broadband policy. Today, that policy is in tatters with a mishmash of yesterday's technologies touted by the practical "inventor" of the internet as being awesome.

Sad face.

Oh, and the above image is intended to be satirical. The Liberal Party HQ would never have a woman in it.
